Factory Reset Polycom Soundpoint IP

The following steps will walk you through factory resetting a Polycom Soundpoint IP Phone. This requires that you know the administrator password.

Instructions

Following these steps will wipe all data from your phone.

Part 1 - All UC Versions

  1. Select Menu → Settings → Advanced → Enter the administrator password
  2. Admin Settings → Reset to Defaults

Part 2a - UC 3.x

  1. Reset Local Configuration → Yes
  2. The phone will reboot

Part 2b - UC 4.x

  1. Reset Local Configuration → Yes
  2. Reset Web Configuration → Yes
  3. Reset To Factory → Yes
  4. The phone will reboot
